1. Core definition and functional integration
Definition: All-light shielding protective film is a high-performance composite film that can completely block visible light, ultraviolet rays (UVA/UVB), and infrared rays. It achieves 100% shading effect through multi-layer structure design and special materials. Its core functions include:
Full-spectrum shielding: Blocks visible light at 400-700nm, ultraviolet light at 280-400nm and infrared light at 780-2500nm, preventing equipment aging, data leakage or visual interference caused by light penetration.
Thermal management: Infrared shielding can lower the internal temperature and enhance the stability of equipment (such as precision instruments and electronic displays).
Electromagnetic shielding extension: Some products integrate conductive layers (such as copper foil, nano-silver wires) to achieve protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Mechanical protection: Scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant, weather-resistant, suitable for extreme environment applications.

2. Innovation in material systems and structures
Base material selection
Optical-grade PET/PEN: The high-transparency substrate is treated with a black coating or metal evaporation to achieve full light shielding.
Metal foil substrate: Aluminum foil and copper foil are combined with the substrate through a composite process to enhance electrical conductivity and light-blocking performance.
Nanocomposites: Carbon nanotubes and graphene coatings enhance light absorption and thermal radiation efficiency, with a thermal conductivity of ≥2500 W/(m·K).
Bio-based/degradable materials: PLA and PBS substrates combined with black pigments, taking into account both environmental protection and full light shielding requirements.

Coatings and functional layers
Black light-absorbing layer: matte black ink, nano-carbon black, and metal oxide (such as chromium oxide) coating, absorbing over 99.9% of incident light.
Reflective layer: The aluminum and silver metal vapor coating reflects light and reduces heat absorption.
Adhesive system: Conductive acrylic adhesive, silicone or pressure-sensitive adhesive, ensuring a balance between bonding strength and conductivity, peel force 1.0-1.5kg/25mm.
Auxiliary layers: anti-static layer, weather-resistant coating, release paper protective adhesive layer.
Typical structure: Substrate layer → light-absorbing layer → reflective layer → adhesive layer → release paper. The multi-layer composite is integrated through hot pressing /UV curing, with a thickness accuracy of ±0.5μm.

3. Processing technology and technological innovation
Precision coating technology
Coating application: Use letterpress printing, micro-concave coating or electrophoretic deposition technology to evenly apply the black light-absorbing layer, and control the uniformity of thickness (±5% deviation).
Metal evaporation: Vacuum coating technology deposits aluminum and silver reflective layers to ensure consistent optical properties.
Lamination and slitting: The multi-layer structure is laminated under pressure through the lamination wheel, and the edges are cut and wound after cooling. Laser cutting is suitable for fine structures (such as pads and vias).

Intelligent and environmentally friendly processes
AI defect recognition: Real-time monitoring of coating amount, peel force and surface defects, with a recognition rate of ≥99.5%.
Water-based UV coatings: Replace oil-based lubrication and reduce VOC emissions; Bio-based silicone oil and degradable substrates reduce carbon footprints.
Automated production line: Integrated online monitoring system, controlling temperature, pressure and speed parameters, increasing production efficiency by more than 50%.

4. Performance Parameters and Quality Control
Key performance indicators
Optical performance: Light transmittance ≤1%, completely blocking visible light and ultraviolet rays; The infrared shielding rate is ≥95%.
Temperature resistance: Long-term use from -40℃ to 150℃, short-term temperature resistance up to 200℃, thermal shrinkage rate ≤0.041%.
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength ≥4.5kg/mm, elongation 7%-10%, bending life ≥10,000 times (R5/180°).
Adhesive force: 180° Peel force 1.0-1.5kg/25mm, steel surface bonding strength ≥7N/cm (after 14 days).
Environmental protection certification: RoHS and REACH standards, no halogen or harmful substance release; The bio-based materials have passed the ISO 14855 composting degradation certification.

Quality inspection standards
Substrate inspection: thickness, roughness, and purity analysis (such as AFM/ laser confocal microscopy).
Coating inspection: Uniformity of coating, adhesion, weather resistance (double 85 test for 500 hours without peeling).
Adhesive testing: Peel strength, shear strength, heat resistance (thermal aging test).
Optical performance test: Spectrophotometer is used to measure light transmittance and reflectance. Infrared thermal imagers are used to evaluate the effectiveness of thermal management.
